Who we are
NextFest is presented in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation. This statement covers the festival companion website and the in-park digital experiences operated for the 2026 summer series.
What we collect
- Necessary data — language preference, accessibility settings, RSVP and check-in state. Stored locally in your browser unless you opt in to sync.
- Optional location — when you tap “Nearest park,” your device shares a one-time coordinate with the page. It is never sent to a server or stored.
- Analytics — if you opt in, aggregate pageview, region, and device metrics help us improve programming. No advertising identifiers.
- Marketing — only if you opt in. Used to coordinate partner activations and re-share series updates.
How we use it
To deliver the festival site, remember your preferences, schedule programming, fulfill accessibility commitments, and report aggregate attendance to County and partner stakeholders. We do not sell personal information.

Children
The site is open to all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents and guardians can request deletion at any time.
Retention & security
Necessary data lives in your browser and clears when you clear site storage. Aggregate analytics are retained no longer than 14 months. We use HTTPS, restricted access, and partner systems audited under industry standards.
